“The manager was very helpful and unlike my experience with other companies,he did not try to sell me tyres that I didn't need. This also reflected my experience when I took my mother's car for new tyres, that she had been told by another source were required, he recommended that she did not purchase them immediately, but return in a few months to have them checked again.

I also very much appreciated the additional checks made during my visit and subsequent report.

All this done politely and with a very welcoming manner.”

“Expensive cheap tyre used, found out from a second garage could have been £20 less
Two visits to get tracking/alignment done, still wasn't fixed so I gave up and booked in with another garage who fixed it.
Long waiting time, second visit, to be told " oh it was finished 15mins ago they didn't tell me" after I'd been sitting there for a good 45mins at least.
Really not happy and actually would want refund”

“My 5 stars is based on one fitter at Bathwick Tyres – Team Protyre Max. Amazing guy good fitter and fantastic knowledge. He turned my car around in 1 hour amazing!! I will use aging if Max is still there. They need to sort there manager out there as he has no customer service skills at all. If the company wants to contact me about this I will explain all. But everyone ask for max he won't let you down.”

“initial welcome and inspection of punctured tyre was professional and quick and I was told the tyre was in stock and could be change immediately if I wanted to wait. I agreed but having handed over the keys to the fitter that changed the tyre it took a very long time to change a single tyre, easily over half an hour.
A member of staff was also complaining about the working conditions under Protyre to another member of staff in the reception area which I thought was unprofessional.
The tyre price was average.”

“One and a half hours to change two tyres and wheel alignment.
People who came in after me left before me.
First time I was given my keys back I asked if the alignment needed adjusting and I was told that no one told them to do it – even though this was pre-paid for.
No apology or acknowledgement that they took longer than needed.
No print out or feedback on wheel alignment.
No thank you or farewell.
Free drinks aren't nice.
Waiting room isn't a nice place to be – especially for one and a half hours.”

I was able to leave the damaged tyre / wheel with the team who contacted me at work next day when the wheel was ready to be fitted; this ensured I was able to attend work & leave briefly to get the tyre fitted, without wasting any time or having to postpone any of my planned appointments.
They are a professional supportive team & I am grateful for their support.”

“Owing to time constraints, last time, I bought a full set of tyres and full wheel alignment from Kwik-Fit. A few months on and my MOT noted significant abnormal tyre ware all-round, and tyre wear indicating wheel misalignment on the front… despite me having avoided hitting any potholes since the last alignment and having covered only a few thousand miles.

Bathwick (unlike Kwik Fit) required no prior appointment; conveniently undertook the work on Saturday, confirmed and corrected wheel alignment – and recommended a choice of good quality alternate tyre brands for the fronts that already required immediate replacement. We discussed the rears – which, as they also showed abnormal wear, I was willing to replace if necessary… but Bathwick recommended wearing them out instead – as they pose no safety or reliability risk and are only about 50% worn.

The steering, at speed, now feels vastly improved… I couldn't be happier.”
