“Tyres ordered in November and priced on basis of £50 rebate from Michelin for buying 4 tyres as advised by Protyre when ordering however when tyres came into stock in December the Michelin offer was no longer available but no one told us until the tyres were being fitted. If we had known would not have bought tyres.”

“I visited Protyre recently twice on the same day, with two different cars.
The first was for an MOT which had been booked in advance and was carried out efficiently and on time.
Later the same day I visited with my other car, unannounced for an opinion on one of my tyres as another garage had recommended immediate replacement due to tread depth.
Protyre checked all my tyres for me and gave me an honest opinion and whilst one of the tyres was lower on tread than the others, they pointed out how far above the legal minimum it was, and recommended I have it replaced in the next few months. Sound advice and an honest approach which it what I appreciate most.”

“If I have ever had a problem with my car and not sure what is wrong, I have found that everyone that works there is honest, reliable and trustworthy. They tell me straight what is needed and I know that they are not just trying to sell for the sake of it. I have used the garage several times and take my car there for its MOT. The rest of my family go to the garage and I always recommend it to others. Great service.”

“I thought I had a slow puncture so visited the garage. I did have a nail but also a very worn tyre which the staff member showed me , he offered a range of replacement tyres so I could choose the one I required/ could afford them proceeded to fit it the whole process took approx 15 minutes. Thank you”

“I cannot comment on how well they inspected my car for an MoT because they issued me with a pass certificate. I've reported a garage in the past for erroneously failing my car, but had no reason to re-check in this instance. I arrived early for my appointment and collected later as arranged. Prior to the Mot I had two new tyres fitted by a mobile fitter, which saved me £50 on Pro-Tyre prices.”

“Excellent customer service!! I had four new tyres on my vehicle and the staff whom i spoke to..Chris and Gaz, made me feel welcome. I had a number of questions of which were answered in detail. “Had a problem with screw in tyre. Went to local national tyres said unrepairable. As was expected. Quote coouldnt match the one wife got online night before. Asked if had one in stock said yes. Went straight down after good directions. Had a new one fitted and replaced spare back into boot. Polite. Helpful staff. Nothing bad to say. Yes would recommend and definately use again. Thanks.”

“Got specific tyres required urgently but not in stock, very quickly, honoured Internet price (I did need two!), though booked on phone, and fitted them without fuss at time agreed. Would (already have!) recommend them…..only issue – did not discuss with me which of two tyres would be changed or which axle they'd put the new ones on before doing it, but did explain choice afterwards…..”

“My car was booked in for MOT at 9.00am and to replace the outside temp sanser..
I was told to call back about 10.15. While waiting I had a leisurely visit to Mersey Way, bought 2 pair of shoes and enjoyed a latte. I collected the car and new MOT at 10.30. Total expenditure including the latte. £91.”

“As usual on arrival at my local pro tyre I was greeted warmly and asked what I wanted to do while my car was given its mot.
I was offered a free drink if I wanted to stay but as I live close I decided to go home less than an hour later as promised I was contacted and told my car had passed with 2 advisories that would need to be done in about 6 months.
Guess where I will be having the work done..”

They lost a star because I arrived early and I don't think they were happy about that judging by the look on the man's face. but to be fair the chap had come to open up and could have had a bad start to the day. In the office he was fine and professional and that is what is good about the place. The job is done to a high standard.. Thank you”

“Great service from the staff, Gaz was very helpful sorting out my quote, at a great price.
Tyres were available the next day and were fitted within an hour.
He spotted a rear tyre that was perished and swapped it for my spare with the two new front one's . I'd had lots of problems from a Kwik fit job done a year ago, mainly leaking from the rims.
This is now sorted.
Would highly recommend you to friends & family.”

“I needed a new tyre and MOT doing ASAP, and they were able to order me a new tyre and arrange MOT in the afternoon of the same day.
The reason I use these guys as one time I visited as I had a slow puncher, so I thought, they tested the tyre and found that the valve was just loose and didn't charge me as they said "we didn't really do anything"… expect give me an honest service and peace of mind….”
