“Be honest and stop trying to rip people off . I have been a customer for a long time , so have my sons . My son came in to have his tyres checked and was told he needed four new tyres . He priced them at another place and was told he had 4 to 5 thousand miles left on them . He is going back to them when due . My M.O.T. was cheep i know why now my discs were failed . I have had these checked by 3 engineers (qualified ) . Had my M.O.T. else where they passed . If you could send me a V.T. 17 form I will take my car to the government testing station at Kirkham to prove my point . My brake Pads had failed but discs no . You failed it to make up the cost of a cheep M.O.T. I will not be using you again , your efforts to make money at all costs from your customers is very disappointing after being with you a long time .”

“Excellent customer service. Took me back home and collected me when my car was ready. My car was always serviced by the Dealer till now. It will not be going back. In March due to living close and a distance from the dealer we were due to travel south and I needed the levels checked etc as I have mobility problems and my husband has Alzheimer's this was done willingly and no charge. The dealer charged £19.99 each time. This was done there and then for no charge. This decided me to have my annual service and MOT done – when due in May and was charged almost half the price of the dealer. What more can I say.”

“I tried to book an MOT test via the website, but when I arrived at the test centre there was no record of my booking. The web booking had failed but my credit card had been charged. Two days later I was still getting emails saying the MOT was in my basket but I could not reference it. I had to book an MOT over the counter and I was never given a satisfactory explanation as to what happened with my internet booking..”

“Car taken for service and missfiring problem, as tyres were nearly done asked them to check them. Service done and misfiring sorted and due to age at tyres they were showing cracking so 4 tyres were fitted also. All done with excellent service and reasonably priced also rang me when completed. Have used them previously also with the same excellent service and will use again.”

“Booked through the internet. You could see on entering the reception Chris was very busy and under pressure , but still delivered a excellent service with very good workmanship and communication. Would highly recommend .”

“I was told that there was £1000 worth of work to be done, after I looked over it all I was able to find places that could do the work much cheaper not £1000 worth of work. I felt as I was female that they were trying to over charge me, I felt pressured into taking their finance option before I had even looked at what needed doing. Needless to say I did not take their option.”

“I Ordered the tyres for my mororbike over a week in advance, but they were only ordered by Protyre the day before I was due to arrive and only after a phone call by myself to check, and one tyre only arrived 30 mins after I arrived. fitting was quick and got a cheaper price than quoted, Im still waiting for a receipt as their printer was down and they were going to forward it by email…”

“I came in on a Friday with a puncture and the garage didn't have any tyres that would fit my Vauxhall moka. I had to wait until 11 o'clock Monday. Luckily I had a space saver .However I was,still kept waiting for my tyres to be fitted, I had to bring my car back again on Wednesday due to my wheels not being balanced and was causing a shudder whilst driving at 60-70

“I recently took my car in for its MOT, the lads where very friendly / professional and honest , the time scale they gave me was spot on and with in the hour like they said it would be, I was very impressed by this. I will definitely recommend these guys to all my friends and neighbours, their prices are very good compared to other garages I?ve been too. “Should have been 5 Stars, but marked down a star for a workshop operative & office staff worker having an open dispute/disagreement about working conditions on shop floor in the front office, in front of paying customers..! Should have gone to back of workshop or rest room out of the range of public eyes & ears to discuss or settle differences of opinions. I run my own tyre company & understand not all staff see eye to eye all the time, but I would attempt to keep any heated arguments away from paying public..!”

“The staff are pleasant and obviously know what they are talking about. When I made the appointment I was told that I should get my car back by early afternoon if I took it in early morning. However it wasn't looked at until the afternoon so was much later finished than I had planned for and I had to cancel my afternoon appointment. The work was good though and I was advised on what problems would need dealing with in the near future. Overall a good job.”

“Kept me informed of delivery time of the tyres I had ordered.
To here staff saying 'we'll get the Jag out of the way' might be construed as the car being there was an inconvenience. Also, I couldn't quite understand why the tyre fitter should point out they are unable to remove the valve on one of the wheels.
Frankly, that is his job.I wasn't sure if I was expected to pay for a new valve.As my bill was to be £700 I thought it a bit rich.”

“This is the only garage I would trust to work on my car and not to get ripped off. Staff are always so friendly, professional and helpful. They are always accommodating when having to book your car in on short notice and the work is always carried out swiftly. Prices are competitive and any unexpected work will always get a phone call to the customer before carried out. Highly recommended, I wouldn't take my care anywhere else!!”

“As a female driver I have been ripped off by garages in the past until I started using this garage which are the complete opposite of rip off. They do not try to charge or recommend things that you do not need. I have used this garage for several years for both my cars and I'm always 100% satisfied. My friends especially females now use this garage based on my recommendation. The staff are very friendly and helpful and I wouldn't go anywhere else”

“The gent who helped us with a new tyre. Tried his upmost to get the tyre delivered before the bank holiday weekend. Unfortunately due to not having the specific tyre in stock at depot this wasn?t possible. But this felt fine at the time as he had tried so hard to get us the tyre. Moreover, he wasn?t happy until he could tell us when he would have it and when we could get it fitted. Great experience overall and throughout. Constant contact about time etc was brilliant.”
