“I met representatives of the Protyre team at the Cassington Bike night and was immediately impressed with the friendly, personal approach. They were also interested in attending the Oxford Section BMW Club nights to provide an information evening – so far so good…… So as Social Secretary I was honour bound to follow up by ordering a set of Metezler Roadtec 01's for my K1600. The call was taken politely and tyres were in stock within a few days although I did have to chase. The day dawned when the tyres were fitted and what an excellent service, the guys were very welcoming and allowed me to watch the tyres being fitted, a great education, my thanks to David at reception and the expert tyre fitter whose name I didn't get but a brilliant job”

“The customer service I experienced was appalling, the gentleman who served me was rude and appeared like there were many places he'd rather be.
After messing up my booking time slot I returned to a failed MOT, which after receiving a second opinion elsewhere, was passed. (I reaslise that MOTs are subject to opinion to a certain degree, however I couldn't help but feel that as a young female on her own that this was a ploy to get me to pay out more to have works done on my car that weren't needed.)
I then had to ask about the retest policy, which I feel is information that should have been offered freely, and was told I had to have the works completed and the retest done within 24 hours, which after searching on the internet I learned to be incorrect as I should have had 10 working days.
Safe to say I shall not be using protyre in Protyre Carterton again and will be sharing my negative experience with friends and family members.”
