“Having moved into Eclipse Tyre Services recently finding a garage to trust is easier said than done, I first visited protyre in Eclipse Tyre Services to have my brakes checked as the back end of the car wasn't feeling good upon inspection it was found my back tyres had different depths of tred on ranging from 3mm to 6mm, Carl informed me of the problem and the probable cause printed out a quote for new tyres no pressure no sales gimmicks no harassment or lying it's not safe so after going home to think about it decide to go back the next day and have tyres put on which made a big difference to the car, Because of this non pushy customer service I received I then booked in an mot and service knowing I would get a truthful mot inspection knowing my car is safe for myself and my family, Carl seems to have very good knowledge of cars and common faults which gives me trust in Protyre Eclipse Tyre Services and will be using them again and certainly recommend them”

“They were polite, helpful and answered any questions I had. They had to order my tyres in as they are an unusual size (I was expecting this). The tyres arrived on time. I booked my vehicle in to have the tyres fitted at a specific time. This helps me as I have a very busy work schedule. Other well known tyre companies I?ve used in the past, I?ve found myself waiting in a queue which has disrupted my day. A good service all round.”

“I had booked my car in for Two tyres at 9-30 on Tuesday on Tuesday 24th July.
I arrived in good time but was told that they would be running late due to staff shortage.
Whilst I understood and accepted the situation it was 12-30 before the job was done. I was a bit upset as it nearly ruined by arrangements fir that afternoon.
However I compliment Warren and his colleague for managing what I know was a very difficult day for them and a good job was done”

“They failed my car on its MOT (emissions), but couldn?t tell me what was wrong with my car. If I wanted to find out what was wrong with my car, they said they would need to have the car for an entire day. I took my car to another garage as soon as I left there, they did an MOT on it and it passed first time. The guys told me there emissions testing machine could be broke, if this is the case why are you carrying out unworthy MOTs and wasting peoples time and money?”

“I visited just before my MOT as i was concerned about the wear on one tyre. I was told that the tyre was some way from needing to be replaced and advised not to do so only to discover that it was in fact worn enough to fail the mot booked two days later. On returning to get the work done i received very little in way of an apology and then was also told i needed the wheels realigned, this was done but apparently not 100% successfully although this wasn't fully explained either.”

“The result was very good; helpful and cheerful staff, and the feeling of a job done with care and attention.
The only thing stopping the rating from being "excellent" was the chap on the till when I arrived let me stand there unacknowledged [a "be with you in a moment" was all it needed] for four or five minutes, finishing off a non-work related conversation – albeit with a customer. I really was on the point of walking out when he finally spoke to me. All else from that was perfect.”

“I have used this garage for some years and recently they completed a full sevice and MOT on my 15 year old Nissan Micra. On both occasions they did a thorough and consciencious job solving the problems I had had with it since buying it in January. I would also say that when I had a problem with the starting the car in the summer, instead of carrying out expensive and unnecessary repairs they showed me that my problem was operator error and how to start her properly. I will of course be using them again!”

“Arranged to leave the car with Protyre for an agreed period, which then was shortened by them which meant I had to cut short something else and rush back.
I was asked to give THEM a price for the tyres (shouldn't THEY give me a price??)
Job could not be done, so a second appointment had to be arranged.
At second appointment, tyres had been sent back and weren't available at the pre-arranged time. Went back later, and was again asked 'What was the price of the tyres?'
I also suspect that the originally specified Michelin tyres would not have been fitted if my wife (who took the car in the second time) had not pointed out that we had specified Michelins.”

“I placed an order on 1 December 2017 and paid for two new tyres ? Autogrip P308 to be fitted at 10 am on 8 December 2017.

Upon fitting I was informed that those tyres were out of stock. Why did you not contact me either by mobile or email to advise me of this? My car is booked in for a MOT at another garage and therefore had very little choice but to accept the tyres offered. I was advised that they were exactly the same. However, upon researching your website I find that the supplied Autogrip 200 are a lower grade/rated tyre.

And two tyres paid for £113.84 tyres fitted £103.54 therefore the fitted tyre is of a lower quality and price but I was not offered a refund of the difference.
