“Visited twice before and informed could not attend to my car for 'at least two hours'.
When I called this time I asked if they could fit me in and I was told no problem – take a seat… AN HOUR AND A HALF LATER, after asking if it would be much longer, I was told the fitter was just starting on my car. As there was only one other customer in the waiting area I said 'Have you only one fitter then ?' The Manager said yes, one was on his day off, and they will not allow us to recruit any more.
He did apologise for not informing me of the possible wait, but that was as I was leaving!.I had agreed to have the tracking checked, but as that would have meant being there for towards three hours, I cancelled this. I informed him that having used Protyre since moving to Leamington six years ago, I would not be coming again.”

“The spare wheel for the Disco was in the boot. Your staff decided to lower the spare wheel holder with a large wrench without pulling the cable out. This resulted in the cable becoming jammed but they continued to force the unit destroying the cable. I have photos of the damaged part.
They then attempted to put the spare wheel on the remaining bit of the cable by putting the vehicle on a ramp and struggling to fit the wheel from underneath. Thankfully they failed as if the wheel was needed at the road side it would have been impossible to remove. They eventually gave up and put the spare in the boot.
Its cost £50 to replace the spare wheel carrier”

“I visited as I thought I needed two new tyres in advance of my MOT. Your colleague advised I only needed one which in itself was refreshing so I didn't have to spend money unnecessarily. The tyre was fitted quickly and the service wS very friendly and professional. My only disappointment is that I was advised to have my tracking checked and adjusted. When I received the invoice there was a charge of £35.00 for this which wasn't quoted. I can understand it and wS happy to pay the charge but would have liked to be advised in advance of the work being done as it is quite a lot of money and I'm not working at the moment.”

“My wife was returning to Guildford when she had a puncture on the nearby M40. She visited Protyre in Protyre Warwick when they advised on fitting a new tyre to replace the punctured "run-flat" tyre. In the event we chose to have a matching pair of rear tyres fitted which was done after a short wait whilst the tyres were collected from a nearby supplier.
Unfortunately, the nearside mirror of the BMW was damaged when they were reversing out of the tyre bay, but again after an hour's wait, the company fitted a small temporary replacement and agreed to source and pay for a new BMW replacement which we have now had fitted at a local Protyre depot in Guildford.”

“I ordered 4 tyres from your website. It informed me that all four were in stock and could be fitted in one hour. I chose a fitting time but the earliest available was 2 days later.
I arrived at the time given on your website and was told that only two tyres were available and that they could not be fitted for at least one hour as Protyre does not operate an appointments system only a first come first served policy. I left my car to have the tyres fitted and the receptionist told me that he would call me when they were done.
I called him as he did not call me.
The next day he called me to inform me that the other two tyres were available. I agreed to be there at 2 pm to have them fitted. Again there was no fitter available and I was there for almost 2 hours to have 2 tyres fitted and the tracking checked.
Two visits and 6 hours to fit 4 tyres and adjust tracking – slowest service ever.”
