I have a service booked in the coming weeks with a dealer group or garage, but they have now closed. What can I do?

Some garages remain open and we understand that most manufacturers have arranged for there to be service and repair facilities available for, at least, all key workers.  If the dealer group or garage is not open and it is important that your car is serviced (e.g. because you need it for essential travel), we recommend that you book the car in with an alternative garage.  To find your nearest accredited garage, please visit our Garage Finder.

Almost all warranties permit you to have your car serviced at an alternate retailer (including independents) without the warranty being invalidated.  If you don’t need your car serviced at this time, we recommend that you wait until the garage re-opens.  Most manufacturers have already confirmed that the warranty won’t be affected by a delay to the car being serviced because of COVID-19, but we recommend that you check with the manufacturer of your car.
