Should a garage give you a courtesy car?
There’s no legal or Code obligation on any accredited business to provide a courtesy car. Where one is offered, it’s a discretionary service rather than a guaranteed right, so provision varies from garage to garage.
Can I get a courtesy car while my car is in the garage?
It’s possible, but not guaranteed. We’d recommend contacting the accredited business to request a courtesy car before booking your vehicle in for a service or repair, rather than assuming one will be available on the day. Bear in mind there may be a charge to cover the cost of insurance or fuel.
