DS Automobiles and its authorised retailers are dedicated to delivering quality vehicles and excellent customer care. However, there may be occasions when your experience falls short of expectations.
If you experience a problem with your DS vehicle, servicing, or dealership interaction and wish to make a complaint, you should contact the business directly in the first instance. DS Automobiles UK is accredited to The Motor Ombudsman’s Motor Industry Code of Practice for New Cars, and many concerns can often be addressed through the company’s own complaints procedure.
If your complaint has not been resolved after eight weeks, The Motor Ombudsman may be able to review the matter independently. We provide Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) for disputes relating to defective vehicles, rejected cars, or repairs that have not been carried out to a satisfactory standard. This page explains how to complain to DS Automobiles and when The Motor Ombudsman can help.
Before submitting a complaint, please read DS Automobiles’ complaints policy.

When can The Motor Ombudsman help with DS Automobiles complaints?
If you have contacted DS Automobiles UK or an authorised DS retailer and your complaint has not been resolved within eight weeks of being raised, you may be able to refer the matter to The Motor Ombudsman. We will review the circumstances of the dispute and assess whether the applicable Motor Industry Codes of Practice have been followed.
DS Automobiles UK and its authorised retailer network are accredited to The Motor Ombudsman’s Chartered Trading Standards Institute (CTSI)-approved Codes of Practice, which establish recognised standards for vehicle sales, servicing, repairs, and complaint handling.
The Motor Ombudsman can investigate unresolved disputes to determine whether these standards have been met. We may consider complaints relating to the purchase of a vehicle, the quality of service provided by a DS Automobiles retailer, or concerns regarding repairs and workmanship.
Check DS Automobiles Recalls
You can use the recall checker on our website to find out whether your DS Automobiles vehicle has been affected by a safety recall, using official recall information provided by manufacturers.
DS Automobiles will normally contact registered keepers directly if their vehicle is subject to a recall, outlining the issue and advising on any action that needs to be taken.
