It offers a date and time that the customer can choose, confirms it and takes your money, but as I arrived for my mid morning slot, your system had not got the tyres on site. Suggest you ask the marketing department not to promise what you can't deliver. Sorry but you are misleading the customer. Paul”

“Having burst my front tyre leaving it beyond repair, I took my car to Protyre in Horsforth. Unfortunately they did not have the tyre I required, but ordered one straight away, which would arrive early the following (Saturday) morning. I was under pressure as I was driving to Scotland on the Saturday. The tyre was delivered and fitted exactly as promised.”

“Walked in for a tyre repair and told I needed to book an appointment. Turned up for the appointment and explained again what happened. After the tyre was removed was told to that it could not be repaired because of the tyre repair chemical (not what car maker said) and the only tyre that they had was an £89 unknown brand. Prior to removing the tyre I had mentioned that a repair gel was used and they had a further opportunity to mention that I would need a new tyre if I had used such a device. Again only told when tyre was removed with a ?gun to the head? you need to buy an over priced tyre. Quoted elsewhere £65 for mid brand. Never had a problem here in >20yrs, not sure if I?ll use them again.”
