Motor Codes powers dealer finder and online ratings for car information hub
- Partnership with Motor Codes enhances motoring.co.uk aftersales offering.
- All main dealer members of the Trading Standards Institute-approved garage scheme now searchable on Motoring.co.uk.
- Motor Codes online reviews generate dealer scores on Motoring.co.uk.
Motor Codes, the Trading Standards Institute-approved garage scheme, has partnered with Motoring.co.uk to provide a main dealer search and review function through its aftersales information pages.
The collaboration comes as Motoring.co.uk expands its offering to car owners, developing an enhanced aftersales section to help people make an informed choice about where to look for car servicing and repair and how to budget for it.
Importantly for customers, reflecting the ethos of transparency associated with Motor Codes, the partnership delivers far more than just a database of dealers. The code operator has amassed a databank of around 90,000 online reviews of its 5,600-strong main dealer membership and these are used to power dealer ratings on Motoring.co.uk.
Chris Green, Sales Director at Motoring.co.uk comments: “We are delighted to be working with Motor Codes to further support our manufacturer and dealer partners. This new partnership will enhance our aftersales offering and establish Motoring.co.uk as the number one partner for retention and loyalty.
“Our website will now display all Motor Codes dealers, with live ratings of their satisfaction score prominently displayed alongside their listings. With 1.5 million registered users of Motoring.co.uk, this will significantly increase the volume of feedback available to people researching dealers. Currently, Motor Codes pulls in around 6,500 online reviews each month. As we develop our aftersales section, we’re looking to enable our users to rate dealers on our website.
“This is the start of a broader collaboration with Motor Codes to ensure total transparency for car buyers and owners. It will also enable Motoring.co.uk to further promote manufacturer and dealer aftersales products and services. We look forward to developing a long-term partnership with Motor Codes.”
Chris Mason, managing director at Motor Codes, sees the partnership as a natural fit:
“The Motoring.co.uk information hub works with much of the UK’s main dealer network and wants to provide informed choice to its customers. With 90,000 online reviews of main dealers and counting, Motor Codes can provide that peace of mind for people using the portal to research their next car service.”
