Motor Codes unites with Britain’s most trusted brand

AA to inspect approved garages

Motor Codes, the Trading Standards-approved garage scheme, has appointed the AA to carry out inspections of its 8,000-strong garage network.

The partnership, which will see all new Motor Codes garages audited within a month of sign-up and existing businesses checked on a biennial cycle, adds significant value for approved garages. The AA has recently been voted Britain’s most trusted brand*, presenting Motor Codes subscribers with a powerful marketing message: Approved by Trading Standards, inspected by the AA and reviewed online by garage customers.

Edmund King, AA President, explains the importance of the tie-up:

“Working with Motor Codes is a natural fit for the AA and we’re proud that it will be AA inspectors out there on the ground, making sure that Motor Codes garages remain a safe haven for Britain’s car owners.”

Likewise, Motor Codes managing director, Chris Mason, is excited at the opportunity that the partnership presents:

“We see the prospect of Motor Codes garages inspected by the AA as a powerful tool of reassurance for consumers.

“The significance of a partnership with an organisation that has 15 million members on its books and deals with 3.5 million breakdowns per year should give current and prospective Motor Codes subscribers confidence for the future.”

Ensuring transparency for car owners, all AA inspections results will be published on the profile pages of Motor Codes subscribing garages at www.motorcodes.co.uk, where people can search for their nearest approved garage, read reviews and then rate the garage themselves.
