- Over 250 new businesses have signed up to Motor Codes’ Service and Repair Code since 01 January.
- Subscribers receive over 11,000 calls and more than 2,600 booking enquiries from potential customers during the first 3 months of the year.
Motor Codes has recorded a promising start to 2016, according to the latest statistics released by the government-approved consumer watchdog for the automotive industry.
Since the 01 January, over 250 new subscribers have signed up for the first time to Motor Codes’ CTSI-approved Service and Repair Code. They include members of the Autofirst national network of independent garages, Servicesure Autocentres, Approved Garages, and around 50 franchise dealerships spanning the length and breadth of the UK.
Becoming a part of Motor Codes allows businesses to have a dedicated listing on its online Garage Finder (www.motorcodes.co.uk/garagefinder) which gives the ability for vehicle owners to get directly in touch with them, and see first-hand, the most recent customer reviews. This has resulted in Motor Codes subscribers receiving, between them, over 11,000 calls and more than 2,600 booking enquiries in the first three months of 2016.
Bill Fennell, Managing Director of Motor Codes, said: “With an increasing amount of motorists looking for reassurance that any work carried out by a garage will meet a Trading-Standards approved code of practice, we are seeing more and more servicing and repair providers signing up to Motor Codes. This is leading to plenty of new business opportunities and customer recommendations for subscribers, making it a win win for everyone.”
