“Flexibility. Failed MOT with repeater light Thursday. Told by receptionist (the guy usually there in charge) that I could pop in any time Saturday when it was fixed but I'd need an appointment for road legality. Booked 1245. Turned up at 1045 and was told (different receptionist) to come back at my appt time as they were busy. I explained that guy on Thursday had said come in any time but to no avail. I had to kill time for 2 hours as home is 13 miles away, went back and repeater was checked and MOT granted in literally a few minutes. Very annoyed, as I've been a regular at Autofit for years, my regular place of choice for tyres, with honest unbiased advice and it definitely soured that relationship.”

“You need to sort out this survey…People don't realise they could actually put a 'nickname' , which allows them to then put the branch they're referring to, the alternative is if you don't 'return' to the name option and enter something there's no way of entering the branch, so it just shows as 'Trusted Customer' 'no location' … If I look at reviews I WANT to see WHICH branch is 5* . My branch was an independant before Protyre took over… the original guys are as good as they always were and it's down to their work ethic that the newer employees work as well as they do. Credit where credit's due hey?”

“I never feel a 'nuisance woman' whenever I pop in, the whole team are always helpful with advice! Who knew passenger seats bleeped when you put a heavy bag on them??.. was kindly pointed out my cat litter needed a seat belt on!!!! I always leave happy that I've paid a fair price for work done, and it is done promptly, with consultation beforehand if not present. I have been a customer for the best part of 20 years, a short break to another establishment, but returned because I trust them!”

“I was treated very bad I felt also overcharged. I went there just to get a service done which £160 through the service "Who can fix my car" but then somehow walked away paying £280. They found other things that were supposedly wrong with the car. The worst part is that the problem they said they found and fixed it, it was still there, I told them you only hear it when you take it for a drive.

I took 2 cars there and paid £520 in total, I confronted one of your employees there but he didn't seem to care. I wanted to change the garage I normally go to for a better one but instead I found it was even worse.”

“Normally give 5 stars but not this time! Had the usual polite service from the staff but was not very happy when I collected my car. Had a service the week before and was told that it needed a new trailing arm on the rear suspension and was quoted £120 + VAT (£144), but when I picked it up the final bill was £210 + VAT (£252). Unfortunately I did not have time to query this as I needed to get going. Luckily I did have the money to pay OK but it would have been good to be told of any possible additional items that could be needed.”
