Even took the trouble to explain the severity of the problem by showing me the worn tyre and explaining that signs of similar severe cracking were noted on the other tyres and also needed to be replaced. As the car only does low mileage, I was given a choice of 2 makes of tyre; one being slightly more expensive. I chose the more expensive tyres but I must emphasise that no pressure was applied to buy the more expensive tyres.
