A warm welcome to Vindis Bedford, located on the A6, just off the A421 Bedford bypass.
The Vindis Group was established in 1960 by Frank Vindis, a former World War II Czech Spitfire Pilot. The first Vindis Centre was born in Sawston, Cambridgeshire and since then the business has expanded to include a total of 6 Volkswagen Centres, in addition to other Volkswagen Group Brands. Gary and Nigel Vindis, Frank's sons, are the Joint Managing Directors of the Company; his Grandson Jamie is Operations Director; and a number of other family members have key operational roles within the business. So whilst the Company has grown, it has remained true to a simple but effective philosophy of honesty, integrity, respect and care. The team now consists of in excess of 650 employees; including a number of very long-serving and experienced people.
