Our Mission

SMC started out on the Sowton industrial estate in Exeter (our name actually stands for Sowton Motor Company) and we have long served Exeter for all its needs regarding the SEAT brand. We later moved to Marsh Barton in Exeter, a trading estate rumoured to be largest populated area of car dealers in Europe! Year on year we have gone from strength to strength with a growing and loyal customer base being served by our loyal and knowledgeable staff who's enthusiasm for the brand is as strong as its determination to consistently give the best levels of service.

“Same part replaced, less than 12 months apart, 2 year warranty was not honoured. When queried Service Manager said that part I paid for in February 2016 was not actually fitted although it was on my invoice?! How can that be? Fraudulent I feel.”
