“As I often do I'd forgotten to put one of the cars in for its MOT. And we were due to travel. Not only did the lads promise that they'd squeeze our Hyundai in next afternoon but they even managed to do it a few hours earlier than we hoped for. Top notch service. I really appreciate the way the mechanics sympathise with your position and do what they can to help. Needless to say a storm hit a day or so after our car was checked over. We encountered snow, flooding and gales in the Lakes. It was imperative our car was in tip top condition.”

“booked in at 11:15am for 2 rear tyres, front pads and 4-wheel alignment on BMW 420D Xdrive. Wheels were swapped left to right (another mechanic told me that due to TPMS, wheels should not be swapped) and fitted one black dust cap instead of the original silver (same happened when I changed front tyres last year). Wheel alignment was out, advised on price and time (about 1-1.5 hr) and I gave the go ahead with the job. I returned to collect the car at 15:45 but the alignment hasn't not been completed. They offered to do it, but as it was about closing time I did not want to rush the job so I left without alignment. I did the alignment at a different garage with Hunter Hawkeye machine (cheaper as well) and the results were different so the accuracy/calibration of the machine is in question.”
