But the exact tyre can be bought for £146 from black circle and even on pro tyre web site they are cheaper than the £245 I paid”

I had a puncture, and the RAC had fitted the spare tyre; the mechanic showed me the split in the tyre (which the RAC man hadn't been able to spot), and he put a new tyre on and did tracking on both axles, all within about half an hour. One of the other tyres had a legal but low tread, but, rather than pressuring me to have a second new tyre there and then, he asked me my usual mileage and then advised me to come back in a couple of months.”

“A standard MOT service with them resulted in a massive mileage discrepancy which is now on my cars history with DVLA (they added 40,000+ miles to my mileage!!) Protyre manager offered me a new MOT certificate to show correct mileage which is all good and well, if not for the fact that the discrepancy is now on my cars history and has DE-VALUED my car by the best part of £900 when i have tried to sell it!!
I?ve contacted them twice and informed them that DVSA have refused to amend the mileage due to not having a service receipt from around the time the original MOT took place, which would confirm the true mileage on my car. I was promised a call back the next day and I am STILL waiting! Ultimately, THEIR error has now become MY problem. Absolutely appalling!!”
