“When I brought my car to have my tyres changed my locking wheel nut was in perfect condition. When I arrived to pick my car up, I was not told straight away that they left all 4 locking wheel bolts off my car. After I paid they took me to my car and said that by the way we left your locking wheel bolts off as I might not get them off again due to the locking wheel nut breaking. I was told it's common and to get some new wheel bolts oh and that my car isn't safe without them. I also have to stress that the previous tyres were all fitted by Southam Tyres tyres as well.”

“2 hour wait reduced to 1 hour 15 minutes. This was good as I had 2 small children in tow and we were en route from Derbyshire to Dorset on holiday when we suffered our incident. However, it was quite obvious there were insufficient staff available – one man dealing with all customers and phones were ringing out unanswered. Whilst the one man was trying to do a good job it was clear that he was stressed out – and this showed in his abrupt manner. Had he had some help I?m sure his blood pressure would have been lower?”

“Awful service. Man at counter was rude, unhelpful and uncommunicative on dropping off vehicle and unhelpful when picking up vehicle. Made very obvious fault in how they left car ? making it more dangerous than it should have been. On pointing out fault – no offer was made to put it right ? a job that would have taken 10 minutes top ? at no cost to Pro-tyre. Will never use this company again – if I could give zero stars I would”

“First time I have used Protyre in Southam Tyres. They were very efficient but I felt let down on pricing honesty. I was quoted £110 per continental tyre for a fiesta. I queried this as I recalled paying a lot less previously elsewhere but was told that was the price. I later checked the web site and they were £80 and Kwik Fit £62. Not sure I would use them again as I do need to trust suppliers I use.”

“We come to Southam Tyres from Coventry because they have what we want, it?s a clean friendly environment with tea and coffee hosted by Ray (he needs an apron)
They offer good advice when enquiring about other brands, products or services, the job is then completed quickly and efficiently. We have come to rely on Southam Tyres Tyres for a no nonsense, 1st class service, let?s hope nothing changes.”

“As previously Southam Tyres tyres provided a friendly and efficient service. I took my car in a day earlier than it was booked as that suited my arrangements and was then phoned to be told they had managed to start it early and I could collect it the next morning. They had warned of a potentially expensive problem but during the work found a way round it thus saving me several hundred pounds.”

“Tyre fitting fine,but tried to rip off my wife saying there was metal to metal contact on the rear brakes and the pads needed replacing at a cost of £240, when I checked the pads did not need renewing and there was no sign of any metal contact. This is shady practice and an example of how organisations such as yours rip off unaccompanied females. For your information replacement pads only cost £20 and take less than 2 hours to fit, so goodness knows where £240 to fit them comes from”

“Really good service, was seen within the hour (albeit I had made a booking and already purchased tyre of choice online). Staff were friendly & helpful, giving me the choice of a new tyre or a repair. Waiting area was comfortable with free coffee and WIFI. Price reasonable. Will definitely be back. Only area of progression would be – I'd like better ability to book ahead and be guaranteed to be seen at the time slot I book.”

“Really good. Checked what tyres you had available for my car on the website. Recommended tyres were the ones I wanted and what the vehicle came with so the correct recommendation. Went along in the morning, they said to leave the car with them which I did at lunch time. All sorted by the end of the day. Great turn around. Really appreciated considering I got a puncture the day before and was on my space saver spare wheel.”

“Poor from start to finish. Two days before I turn up and 3 after I order and pay online I get a ?not sure your tyres will be here on the day ? message. Then a promised call back didn?t occur . Then I get a message one day before to say you have 3 of the 4 tyres. Then when I rearrange the day,the greeting at the desk is poor. And the wait so long I have to again rearrange my day of fitting to another day….”

“Booked car in for MOT and wheel alignment check, (Groupon currently have a voucher for this). When I dropped the vehicle off I was informed that if the alignment was out they could adjust it and the cost of doing so. I asked them to just let me know if it was out.

Returned after 1 hour and all done. Car passed with no advisories, there were no hidden charges or unnecessary faults found. Wheel alignment was slightly out but as I requested they had not adjusted it.

“The whole process from choosing tyres and ordering online to fitting and driving away was simple and quick. I arrive at the Protyre's Southam Tyres site and,strangely, was dealt with immediately – there is normally a wait as they are generally very busy.
My only quibble, and this doesn't detract from the score, is the tyre I wanted was a next day option so I ended up with a higher load option of the tyre I wanted and the bonus was it was cheaper.”

“I'd like to have understood exactly what was done to repair my car after it was returned following an MOT failure.
An invoice could not be printed at the time of repair and after chasing up by phone the following day, was sent by email. The invoice listed an hour of labour and no parts (I had understood that a part was needed). My concern was that this might have been an easy repair at the time of MOT, without the need to return the car.”

“Price was good, service less so. Firstly i booked an appointment online only to be told later they don't do timed appointments-not the garages fault but misleading of the Protyre website. Turned up on a first come first served basis and was given an estimate of an hour. Actual time was 2 hours 20 mins. On the way home, the tyre pressure alarm went off. When i checked, the replacemnet tyres had both had the (same) incorrect pressure”

I have a relatively fast and loud car. When the tyre fitters moved my car to the fitting bay they decided while I was watching to rev my car highly in sport mode without any sort of permission. Due to having an automatic this could have been easily left in gear and shot off into a workbench etc.They then decided to have a laugh and joke about how loud it is while I was still watching,

I found this highly disrespectful and unprofessional.”

“The end to end process was nothing short of exceptional. As a previous customer, the welcome that I received on arrival was warm and friendly. As other customers arrived, they were all given clear indications as to how long they were likely to have to wait, and true to form, the staff were accurate with their estimations.
All of the staff seen were respectful and considerate. The front-line staff (reception), were knowledgeable, courteous and provided excellent customer service!”

“Tire sales was fantastic, Ray was very helpful!
Had 4 wheel alignment done on my Porsche 911 and was told by the technician that he couldn't and wouldn't even try to adjust the rear wheels as it was pointless trying as they are always seized! he was unwilling to even try! i had too wait 2 hours for a service he was unwilling to do! when i took the car he had set the steering wheel off centre! so had to go back for it to be corrected! i should off gone to KwickFit!”

“Extremely professional service from firstly Leamington Spa branch who could not complete task due to stock levels, but went extra mile to check surrounding suppliers and found Southam Tyres branch had enough stock. Greeted at Southam Tyres with very little notice by extremely professional service who fulfilled requirement to exacting standards.

Both branches are a credit to your organisation who have more than satisfied my expectation on both occasions that I have used them. Would recommend to friends every time; superb and keep it up.”

“We have used Southam Tyres Tyres many times before, this time however there was very poor communication. Car was booked in for an MOT, as usual I asked for a call to keep me up to date. No call was received, so i rang 1.5 hrs later to find the car had failed and needed 2 new tyres to which i gave the go ahead. An hour later i hadn't heard anything so called them, no answer. This happened twice. Took the decision to just go down and see if the car was ready. Hadn't been looked at and told it was next in the queue. Got a call approx. 45 minutes later to say the car was finally ready. Car was dropped off at 9.30am and collected at 1pm, i probably would have minded less if i had been kept informed of the process. When i dropped the car off, popped in at 12.15 and collected at 1 the site was very quiet. Also found the exact same tyres for £85 each elsewhere compared to the £111 i was quoted/£100 each I was charged at Southam Tyres Tyres!”
