David Pinchin from Surrey got 2019 off to a winning start after being named by The Motor Ombudsman as the recipient of £500 in Lifestyle Vouchers following the last quarterly prize draw of 2018. David was chosen at random from the many entries submitted to the online Service and Repair Code survey tool on the Garage Finder during the past three months. He completed the review of the Kinghams of Croydon garage after taking his Subaru to the business for its annual service.
David Pinchin said: “Keith Kingham, the owner of Kinghams of Croydon, is a genuinely nice man and wants to please his customers. There is a friendly reception, with ready and waiting staff to receive your car. You don’t have to worry about parking, even though there is little space on the forecourt – you leave it and they move it! Also, there is complimentary tea and coffee all day long and a complimentary breakfast / light lunch at the café down the road while you wait. All-in-all, it’s a highly professional outfit.”
He added: “It was a great surprise to win, and a really nice New Year present, and all for writing a brief review about a visit to the garage! It’s a really worthwhile thing to do and I highly recommend doing it!”
To enter the competition, and be in with the chance of winning £500 in Lifestyle Vouchers, look out for the sticker on your invoice and then search for the relevant business on our Garage Finder. You will then be able to click on the ‘Rate this garage’ button and complete an online review after a repair, or the purchase of a new or used vehicle.
The next quarterly prize draw will take place in April 2019.
