“Car went into the garage in fully working condition for 2x tyre changes.
Later when driving I noticed a vibrating noise, so I stopped and called RAC.
RAC report states:
1. 4/5 wheel bolts (including locking nut) were missing on one wheel, remaining wheel nuts loose
2. The alloy was damaged, and no longer serviceable
The car was returned to the garage; they stated there was no damage to alloy/wheel, and 100% safe to drive.
Unconvinced, I took the car to independant garage: where they confirmed damage to alloy and car unfit to be driven.
Their feedback on the above was not properly acknowledged and I didn?t feel that they understood how serious this incident was; no formal apology.
They also made an unsupported claim that there is a criminal gang in the area loosening peoples wheel nuts, and that they are not at fault!
Overall a very stressful and avoidable experience – I would strongly advise people to avoid them”

“My car was in for mot. First thing that went wrong was the mechanic did not tell me that my car hadn't passed and I turned up at the garage to pick it up. Apparently the windscreen wipers failed. I then called back later in the day to pick it up. Next morning I tested the wipers and there was no difference. I took it back and the Manager ordered some more wipers. They were fitted and everything is now fine. I have to be honest and say that I am usually perfectly happy with the service but on this occasion the Manager was not there that day. Just a blip.”
