Called next day and the tyre was in, it was fitted quickly and I was on my way in less than half and hour.”

“I went in for a new tyre for my sons car as it had a screw in it.
The fitter said it could be removed and gave me a price for that, to which I agreed. Then when someone else was beginning to do the job I changed my mind and asked for a new tyre as my son was expecting a new tyre.
I was told by both fitters that the tyre would be safe, but it was my decision, as it was quite close to the edge.
I opted for the new tyre as my son had given me the money for it and knowing our luck it would puncture again in no time!
Both fitters were honest with me and didn?t pressure me one way or another.”

“Firstly when arriving for two new tyres there was confusion as to whether the tyres had been delivered. It took some ringing around to finally find out yes they had. The two tyres were fitted and the tracking checked. When I got back into my car it stank of stale cigarette smoke just from the few minutes the tyre fitter had been sat in my car to move it.
My MOT was 5 days later with Renault. My MOT failed…why? Because one of the tyres had been fitted on the wrong way round, despite the tyre having an ?inside? and ?outside? marked on them. I had to drive back to the tyre place for them to fix the tyre and then back to Renault to get my MOT signed off. This was an hour and a half wasted of my Saturday. I?m thankful that the MOT was only a few days later as at least it was spotted fairly quickly. The guys at the garage were very apologetic however and apology only goes so far.
Overall I won?t be returning to Bathwick Tyres again.”
